why is it, that, when i "geotag" an image on flickr, it almost always names the location/neighborhood something totally bogus? "Middle City East, Philadelphia" "Barclay Square, Lansdowne"

Well, this seems to be a known problem. I think it has a lot to do with the complexities of Navteq’s data set. Knowing the super smart people at Flickr, I’m sure they’re aware of and are working on fixing this. Rest assured that if it’s right on the map, it’s right in the machine readable tags.
